Description: Smart meter represents the development direction of energy-saving smart grid in the future. The load switch, one of the core parts of smart meter, should be of high reliability, safety and endurance capability of limit short-circuit current. For this reason, this paper discusses the quick simulation of relationship between attraction and counterforce of load switch without iteration, establishes dual response surface model of attraction and counterforce and optimizes the design scheme of load switch for charge control smart meter, thus increasing electromagnetic attraction and spring counterforce. In this way, this paper puts forward a method to improve the withstand capacity of limit short-circuit current.

Description: By bond-anchorage property tests at 20°C ∼500°C, the distribution of shear stress between carbon fiber sheets and concrete at all levels of loading and anchorage lengths were measured, which means the bond lengths during CFRP sheets are pulled off at the same time when the concrete is torn and stripped were gotten. The failure modes were obtained. In addition, the failure loads were measured, and the calculated formulas of anchorage lengths were identified by fitting at high temperature. It can be seen that the anchorage lengths of carbon fiber sheets increase with increasing temperature at 20°C ∼100°C, the anchorage lengths of carbon fiber sheets decrease with increasing temperature at 100°C ∼500°C. Tests prove that AASCM has favorable high-temperature resistant and bond anchorage properties.

Description: The microstructure of the extruded Mg-1Zn alloy doped with different content of manganese was analyzed by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray diffractometry. The mass-loss immersion method and electrochemical test were used to evaluate the corrosion properties. The results show that the microstructure of the extruded Mg-1%Zn- x %Mn (mass fraction, x =0.4, 0.8, 1.2) alloys consists of α-Mg and α-Mn, the grain size of α-Mg decreases with increasing Mn content. Electrochemical corrosion behavior of the alloys is similar. Mn has considerable effect on the corrosion rate, the corrosion process is exacerbated by the galvanic corrosion occurred at interface between α-Mg and α-Mn. The corrosion rate increases as the Mn content increases. Mg-1%Zn-0.4% Mn alloy exhibits the best corrosion resistance between the Mg-1%Zn- x %Mn alloys

Description: The effect of different fibers on mechanical properties and ductility of alkali-activated slag cementitious material (AASCM) is studied. The research contents include: fiber type (plant fiber, polypropylene fiber), fiber content, mechanical property index, tensile stress-strain relationship curve, treating time. The test results showed that the compressive strength of two fibers reinforced AASCM was about 90 ~ 110MPa, and the tensile strength was about 3 ~ 5MPa. The reinforcement effect of polypropylene fiber is superior to that of plant fiber, and the mechanical properties of polypropylene fiber reinforced AASCM are superior to those of plant fiber, According to the comparison of SEM pictures, the plant fiber and polypropylene fiber are both closely bound with the matrix, and the transition zones are complete and close. Thus, it is proved that plant fiber and polypropylene fiber delay the crack extension and enhance the ductility of AASCM.

Description: This article reports a study on the microstructural and long-term mechanical properties of the alkali activated slag up to 180 days, and cement paste is studied as the comparison. The mechanical properties including compressive strength, flexural strength, axis tensile strength and splitting tensile strength are analyzed. The results showed that the alkali activated slag had higher compressive and tensile strength, Slag is activated by potassium silicate (K 2 SiO 3 ) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solutions for attaining silicate modulus of 1 using 12 potassium silicate and 5.35% sodium hydroxide. The volume dosage of water is 35% and 42%. The results indicate that alkali activated slag is a kind of rapid hardening and early strength cementitious material with excellent long-term mechanical properties. Single row of holes block compressive strength, single-hole block compressive strength and standard solid brick compressive strength basically meet engineering requ...

Description: A cellular automaton model has been developed to simulate the austenitization process of ASTM A216 WCA cast steel during heating process. The dissolution of pearlite and the transformation of ferrite into austenite were simulated. The calculation domain was divided into square cells, which are characterized by certain attributes that represent the status of each cell: pearlite (P), ferrite (α), austenite (γ) or γ /α interface. The dissolution of pearlite was described by nucleation and growth of austenite. A mixed-mode model in multicomponent system was employed to calculate the growth velocity of the γ /α interface. According to Burke and Turnbull's theory, austenite grain coarsening induced by γ /γ grain boundary migration was simulated. To validate the model, dilatometric and quenching experiments were carried out. The dilatometric experiment was conducted using a Gleeble1500D with a sample 8 mm in diameter. The temperature of the sample was measured using thermocouples welde...

Description: The basin serving as a basic unit is of great importance for flood inundation and other hydrological fields. Most existing basin division methods have been proposed for a raster-based DEM and used in some hydrological software, such as the ArcHydro tool and the RiverTool. Unfortunately, raster has some limitations when compared to TIN; specifically, it cannot depict real ground water flow accurately and reasonably. Referring to the natural law of gravity, which dictates water flowing from high to low areas, we present a Face-Node-Edge (FNE) flow mode for TIN-based DEM. The FNE flow mode assumes the water on each triangle facet flows to its lowest node initially. The water on the lowest node then flows along the steepest edge to its neighbour node; the flow continues until the neighbour nodes' elevations are higher than its own. Meanwhile, upstream triangles pass their flow flags to the downstream triangles along the flow path. After that we can generate basins according to the f...

Description: The vortex rope in the draft tube is considered as the source of the upper part load pressure pulsations, which is one of some unstable phenomena in a Francis turbine. In this study, the pressure pulsations and the vortex rope in the draft tube of a Francis turbine at upper part load operation are investigated by a three dimensional unsteady numerical method. Firstly, the main frequencies of the pressure fluctuations in three planes, which are z=0.2m, 0.4m and 0.6m, in the draft tube are obtained, which are 0.38 f n , 0.67 f n ,1.04 f n ,1.33 f n and 1.71 f n ( f n is the runner rotation frequency). The simulated main frequencies show a good agreement with the results from model tests, which are 0.34 f n and 1.72 f n . To simplify the problem in this study, the isopressuresurface of p=-25000Pa is considered as a vortex rope. It is found that the sha...

Description: With the strong demands on the further development of economy and energy, tidal energy, with own green and renewable advantages, has gained more and more attention, of which as the main application type, bulb tubular turbines have played an important role in the power exploitation. Characteristic of low head and large discharge, flow properties of a bulb turbine turn out to be more complicated, which seriously affects the actual operation performance of the station. To promote wide development of tidal energy, it is ritual to deeply dig into the performance of bulb turbine. In this paper, a bulb-type model turbine used for tidal energy is taken for example. By means of CFD method and model test, hydraulic specifications, like efficiency and cavitation properties, have been obtained and compared in case of different conditions. Through the contrast between numerical simulation and model test, a novel corrected method relative to the low-head tidal turbine is brought out for furth...

Description: In this work, we study the microwave field driven domain wall (DW) motion in an antiferromagnetic nanowire, using the numerical calculations based on a classical Heisenberg spin model with the biaxial magnetic anisotropy. We show that a proper combination of a static magnetic field plus an oscillating field perpendicular to the nanowire axis is sufficient to drive the DW propagation along the nanowire. More importantly, the drift velocity at the resonance frequency is comparable to that induced by temperature gradients, suggesting that microwave field can be a very promising tool to control DW motions in antiferromagnetic nanostructures. The dependences of resonance frequency and drift velocity on the static and oscillating fields, the axial anisotropy, and the damping constant are discussed in details. Furthermore, the optimal orientations of the field are also numerically determined and explained. This work provides useful information for the spin dynamics in antiferromagnetic...
