Description: A new inductive photo-catalytic reactor was obtained by the alternative magnetic field and optical coupling, which was driven by AC supply. In the cylinder reactor, UV-LED lights with the wavelength of 375-380nm were evenly distributed, and the phenol solution was used as simulated wastewater. The effects of initial phenol concentration, pH, TiO 2 , H 2 O 2 , alternative magnetic frequency, current, and reaction time on the phenol degradation were investigated under an imposed alternative magnetic field. The optimized conditions and results were as follows: phenol concentrations of 15mg/L, pH of 7, H 2 O 2 of 15μL, TiO 2 of 0.18g and alternative magnetic frequency of 12 KHz and current of 2A. With these conditions, the phenol degradation ratio reached 47.1% in 1 h reaction time. The new reactor is very promising for the effective treatment of refractory organic pollutants.

Description: A major share of China's total carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions is from the electric power sector. To solve this problem, Chinese government has implemented many renewable energy policies in the electric power sector. In China, the most popular renewable energy policies are Feed-in tariff (FIT) and renewable portfolio standard (RPS). This paper first introduces the current development of renewable electricity generation. Second the design plan and implement of FIT and RPS in China's thermal electricity generation sector are summarized in this paper. Third this paper establishes a complementary mode of FIT and RPS which can provide a stable environment to make the FIT and RPS work together. Finally, based on the above analysis, this paper proposes relative suggestions for the implementation of FIT and RPS in China making recommendation for the development of electricity generation from renewable energy.

Description: A kind of superhydrophobic copper surface with micro-nanocomposite structure has been successfully fabricated by employing a silk-screen printing aided electrochemical machining method. At first silk-screen printing technology has been used to form a column point array mask, and then the microcolumn array would be fabricated by electrochemical machining (ECM) effect. In this study, the drop contact angles have been studied and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) has been used to study the surface characteristic of the workpiece. The experiment results show that the micro-nanocomposite structure with cylindrical array can be successfully fabricated on the metal surface. And the maximum contact angle is 151° when the fluoroalkylsilane ethanol solution was used to modify the machined surface in this study.

Description: The Bi 2 O 3 nanorods, flower-like Bi 2 WO 6 and Bi 2 O 3 /Bi 2 WO 6 heterojunction composites with the molar ratio of n Bi :n W from 2:1, 2.5:1, to 3:1 have been synthesized via one-step hydrothermal method and two-step hydrothermal method, respectively. The products are characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-vis DRS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Photocatalytic experiments indicate that such Bi 2 O 3 /Bi 2 WO 6 composite possesses higher photocatalytic activity for RhB degradation under visible-light irradiation in comparison with pure Bi 2 O 3 and Bi 2 WO 6 . The enhancement of the photocatalytic activity of the Bi 2 O 3 /Bi 2 WO 6 heterojunction catalysts can be ascribed to the reduced recombination of the pho...

Description: To the collection system optimal design of offshore wind farm, the factors considered are not only the reasonable configuration of the cable and switch, but also the influence of the obstacles on the topology design of the offshore wind farm. This paper presents a concrete topology optimization algorithm with obstacles. The minimal area rectangle encasing box of the obstacle is obtained by using the method of minimal area encasing box. Then the optimization algorithm combining the advantages of Dijkstra algorithm and Prim algorithm is used to gain the scheme of avoidance obstacle path planning. Finally a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on the analytic hierarchy process is constructed to compare the performance of the different topologies. Case studies demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed algorithm and model.

Description: In this work, we study the microwave field driven domain wall (DW) motion in an antiferromagnetic nanowire, using the numerical calculations based on a classical Heisenberg spin model with the biaxial magnetic anisotropy. We show that a proper combination of a static magnetic field plus an oscillating field perpendicular to the nanowire axis is sufficient to drive the DW propagation along the nanowire. More importantly, the drift velocity at the resonance frequency is comparable to that induced by temperature gradients, suggesting that microwave field can be a very promising tool to control DW motions in antiferromagnetic nanostructures. The dependences of resonance frequency and drift velocity on the static and oscillating fields, the axial anisotropy, and the damping constant are discussed in details. Furthermore, the optimal orientations of the field are also numerically determined and explained. This work provides useful information for the spin dynamics in antiferromagnetic...

Description: The machined surface quality of hard and brittle materials was studied based on the analysis of the material removal mechanism of ceramics. According to the geometrical relationship of the internal grinding, the equivalent diameter of grinding wheel was deduced. In the internal grinding, the models of undeformed chip thickness, peak-valley surface roughness and arithmetic mean surface roughness were established with the assistance of planar grinding. The proposed models were verified utilizing the orthogonal test of internal grinding Si 3 N 4 ceramics. The trend of experimental results was consistent with the theoretical model. The scientific validity of the proposed models was supported by the experimental results, and the investigation provides a theoretical reference and experimental basis for further study on the grinding of ceramic materials.

Description: This paper presents a pulsed MIG welding arc length control method based on fuzzy control, which can better realize the dynamic control of arc and ensure arc length stability. In this system, a double-closed-loop control scheme is proposed, a variable-parameter PI control method is used, and a two-dimensional fuzzy controller of an arc-length loop is designed. Both the simulation and the experimental results show that when the distance between the welding gun and the workpiece changes, the arc length can reach a new balance and stable state after 9 pulse periods. The arc length control technology of double closed-loop for pulsed MIG welding is verified feasible in this paper.

Description: The technology of Bank-to-Turn has been recognized as an attractive direction due to their significance for the control of hypersonic glide vehicle. Strong coupling existing among pitch, yaw and roll channel was a great challenge for banking to turn, and thus a novel global sliding mode controller was designed for hypersonic glider in this paper. Considering the coupling among channels as interference, we can use invariance principle of sliding mode motion to realize the decoupling control. The global sliding mode control system could eliminate the stage of reaching, which can lead to the realization of whole systematic process decoupling control. When the global sliding mode factor was designed, a minimum norm pole assignment method of the sliding mode matrix was introduced to improve the robustness of the system. The method of continuity of symbolic function was adopted to overcome the chatter, which furtherly modify the transient performance of the system. The simulation resu...
