    Description: This paper attempts to analyze the spatiotemporal variation of precipitation in Beijing in terms of three indicators, i.e., the total precipitation, the maximum daily precipitation, and the maximum 5h precipitation in the flood season, with data collected from 20 meteorological stations from 1975 to 2012 (June to September). The Mann-Kendall nonparametric test, the linear regression, and five-year moving average were used. The results showed that: (i) the three indicators showed a decreasing trend; however, from 1975 to 1995 and from 1995 to 2012, the precipitation in the flood season showed an increasing trend with an increasing rate of 3.36 and 2.90mm/a, respectively. (ii) The indicators demonstrated a similar spatial variation. The high value precipitation areas were mainly in the northern and central parts of the city.     Description: Mixing performance of the solid-liquid two phase system in a mixing tank equipped with a logarithmic spiral impeller is studied with fluid dynamics software FLUENT. Based on the kinetic theory of granular flow, the basic control equations of the E-E model are established. A multiple reference frame (MRF) method and the RNG k - ε turbulence model are chosen to simulate solid-liquid flow performance and results are compared with that of the four blade turbine (MK) and the six blade turbine (PY). Research shows that the logarithmic helicoidal impeller improves solid-liquid axial-flow performance, and the concentration, power consumption and the mixing time of it are better compared with the PY and MK impellers.     Description: Changes in water resources are mainly affected by the combined effects of anthropogenic activities and climate change. The relative effects of anthropogenic activities and climate on a river basin are investigated to not only understand the hydrological response mechanism in a catchment but also manage local water resources and protect against floods and droughts. In this study, a variable infiltration capacity (VIC) model combined with a hydrologic sensitivity analysis was used to quantify the effects of anthropogenic activities and climate change on runoff in the upper reaches of the Hongshui River basin (UHRB). During 1970-2015, the runoff contribution for climate change and anthropogenic activities were 89.2% and 10.8%, respectively. This result suggests that climate is the major driver of runoff variation in the basin.     Description: In order to study the law of deformation penetration in thickness direction of the plate, 3D finite element model of wedged ingot rolling has been developed by means of software ABAQUS, in order to quantitative study the influence of reduction rate on the deformation penetration effect of steel plates, on the same reduction amount of whole wedged ingot and different reduction at different locations of the wedged ingot. Two pass rolling tests of small rolling mill on 120 mm thick wedged plate has been conducted. Finite element calculation and test results show that the center of plate almost no deformation when the reduction rate decreased to a certain extent ( 〈 15%) and the center of plate deformation rate increased significantly with the increase of the rate of pass reduction.

This article explored the current conditions of water contamination in rural areas of China, introduced the characteristics and effects of applicable sewage treatment technology, and summarized the results of the planning, installation, and operation of rural sewage treatment facilities in Yongjia County in Zhejiang Province.     Description: Bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) are well known for very attractive physical, mechanical and thermal properties. Zr-based BMGs are used as structural materials in sports goods, electronics, jewelry, medical and aerospace applications. Ni free Zr 48 Cu 36 Al 8 M 8 (M = Nb, Ti and Ta) BMGs are successfully synthesized by Cu mold casting technique. Differential scanning calorimetery (DSC) results show that the Zr 48 Cu 36 Al 8 Nb 8 BMG have good thermal stability, wide supercooled liquid region of 80 K and contain the double stage crystallization. The alloy has fracture strength of 1.953 GPa. Shear angle was measured to be in the range of 43.5±5° for the alloy studied.     Description: Mg-based alloys are light weight and have wide range of applications in the automotive industry. These alloys are widely used because of their very attractive physical and mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.     Description: The unreasonable pumping scheme of the pump-treat technology can lead to high repair cost and poor performance in contaminated groundwater remediation. In order to improve the cost effectiveness of the technology, we took a heavily nitrate-polluted informal domestic waste landfill site in North China as an example, and optimized the pumping scheme using Visual MODFlOW software combined with genetic algorithm (GA) in MGO module. By designing the constant pumping rate scheme and phased pumping rate scheme, optimal layout of pumping wells were determined with the minimum total pumping capacity as the optimal target.     Description: In order to solve the problems existing in the regular inspection of LNG vehicle cylinders, the static evaporation rate on line detection system of LNG cylinders is discussed in this paper. A non-disassembling, short-term and high-efficiency on line detection system for LNG vehicle cylinders is proposed, which can meet the requirement of evaporation rate test under different media and different test pressures. And then test methods under the experimental conditions, atmospheric pressure and pressure are given respectively. This online detection system designed in this paper can effectively solve the technical problems during the inspection of the cylinder.

    Description: Urbanization has a significant impact on environmental pollution, but the relationship between urbanization and environmental pollution is complex.
