    Description: For a correct determining of the overvoltage limiters characteristics, as well as the optimal location of its installation is required to use reliable information about the primary electrical quantities, especially voltage level, in different operation modes of electric power systems (EPS). This problem is highly complex, due to the danger of the experiments in real EPS. Methods and tools for calculation and researches of quasi-stationary and switching overvoltages which are applied to solve this problem not always allow to obtain satisfactory results. The developed tools of comprehensive real-time simulation of electric power systems, providing adequate reproduction of processes associated with overvoltages in EPS, are presented in the article. Fragments of the researches of switching overvoltage in the electrical network of the real power system are given.

    Description: This article describes the investigation in the behavior and structure features of the iron-ore sequence in Bakchar ore deposit. Five facies characterizing the typical sedimentation environments were identified based on the analysis of typomorphic attributes of ore-bearing and barren deposits. The facies where oolitic ores are localized have been determined. A conceptual sedimentation model of the Bakchar ore mineralization has been proposed. Two facies- littoral argillo-arenaceous ferriferous sediments and mobile shallow alluvium oolitics were proposed as prospecting indicators of oolite hydrogoethite ore deposits.

    Description: Automatic control plays a vital role in industrial operation. In process industries, in order to have an improved and stable control system, we need a robust tuning method. In this paper Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based algorithm is proposed for the optimization of a PID controller for level control process. A two tank system is considered. Initially a PID controller is designed using an Internal Model Control (IMC). The results are compared with the PSO based controller setting. The performance of the controller is compared and analyzed by time domain specification. In order to validate the robustness of PID controller, disturbance is imposed. The system is simulated using MATLAB. The results show that the proposed method provides better controller performance.

The disposal and degradation of waste plastic is a major issue and scarcities of fuel were major focus area of the researchers. In this virtue the waste plastic fuel extraction makes more attention to the researchers. In this research work focused to find the performance of the waste plastic fuel and compared to diesel. The waste plastic fuel extract from thermal cracking method this process the polymer chains were breakdown into useful lower molecular weight compounds and it becomes plastic pyrolysis it can be utilized as a fuel. The properties of the waste plastic fuel is obtained by various testing process and which is analyze and compare with the fossil fuel diesel.     Description: The present experimental investigation evaluates the effects of using blends of diesel fuel with 20% concentration of Methyl Ester of Jatropha biodiesel blended with various compression ratio. Both the diesel and biodiesel fuel blend was injected at 23º BTDC to the combustion chamber. The experiment was carried out with three different compression ratio. Biodiesel was extracted from Jatropha oil, 20% (B20) concentration is found to be best blend ratio from the earlier experimental study. The engine was maintained at various compression ratio i.e., 17.5, 16.5 and 15.5 respectively. The main objective is to obtain minimum specific fuel consumption, better efficiency and lesser Emission with different compression ratio. The results concluded that full load show an increase in efficiency when compared with diesel, highest efficiency is obtained with B20MEOJBA with compression ratio 17.5.
