Description: A novel method, which is based on the triple-frequency combination and Space-Based Telemetry, Tracking, and Command (STT&C) stations, is proposed in this paper. Considering BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) Geostationary Orbit (GEO) and Inclined Geostationary Orbit (IGSO) satellites as the STT&C facilities, firstly, we presented the BDS Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites’ precise orbit determination scheme based on triple-frequency combination. Then, we gave the sufficient and necessary conditions about the visibility and the coverage rate calculation model of STT&C to BDS MEO satellite. And then we deduced the model of BDS MEO satellites precise orbit determination based on triple-frequency combination observations. At last, we designed the simulation calculation. The simulation results show that orbit determination of BDS MEO satellite based on STT&C station can be realized at all times. And most of the simulation period time, under the condition of the dm level orbit determination for GEO/IGSO satellites, the position accuracy of the relative orbit determination is better than 4 m, the horizontal accuracy of the relative orbit determination is within 2.5 m, and the vertical accuracy of the relative orbit determination is less than 3.5 m.

Description: At present, large water demand and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions have emerged as challenges of steam injection for oil thermal recovery. This paper proposed a strategy of superheated steam injection by the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor (HTR) for thermal recovery of heavy oil, which has less demand of water and emission of CO2. The paper outlines the problems of conventional steam injection and addresses the advantages of superheated steam injection by HTR from the aspects of technology, economy, and environment. A Geographic Information System (GIS) embedded with a thermal hydraulic analysis function is designed and developed to analyze the strategy, which can make the analysis work more practical and credible. Thermal hydraulic analysis using this GIS is carried out by applying this strategy to a reference heavy oil field. Two kinds of injection are considered and compared: wet steam injection by conventional boilers and superheated steam injection by HTR. The heat loss, pressure drop, and possible phase transformation are calculated and analyzed when the steam flows through the pipeline and well tube and is finally injected into the oil reservoir. The result shows that the superheated steam injection from HTR is applicable and promising for thermal recovery of heavy oil reservoirs.

Description: As an important data analysis method in data mining, clustering analysis has been researched extensively and in depth. Aiming at the limitation of -means clustering algorithm that it is sensitive to the distribution of initial clustering center, Glowworm Swarm Optimization (GSO) Algorithm is introduced to solve clustering problems. Firstly, this paper introduces the basic ideas of GSO algorithm, -means algorithm, and good-point set and analyzes the feasibility of combining them for clustering optimization. Next, it designs a clustering method of improved GSO algorithm based on good-point set which combines GSO algorithm and classical -means algorithm together, searches data object space, and provides initial clustering centers for -means algorithm by means of improved GSO algorithm and thus obtains better clustering results. Major improvement of GSO algorithm is to optimize the initial distribution of glowworm swarm by introducing the theory and method of good-point set. Finally, the new clustering algorithm is applied to UCI data sets of different categories and numbers for clustering test. The advantages of the improved clustering algorithm in terms of sum of squared errors (SSE), clustering accuracy, and robustness are explained through comparison and analysis.

Description: To promote the development of unmanned ground vehicle technologies, it is necessary to design a scientific and reasonable test method. Road is an important part of test environmental elements, and different road conditions can examine the adaptability of unmanned ground vehicles to the environment. Therefore, the scientific calculation of road complexity is of great importance. Previous studies on road are mainly based on the concept of road roughness; however due to the unicity of road feature indicators, road complexity can only be reflected to a certain extent. This paper proposes a new road-feature-based multiparameter road complexity calculation model of off-road environment to show the complexity of road more comprehensively. First, a multi-sensor-based data acquisition mobile platform is established to obtain more complete road data. Then, based on the analysis of road feature, road indicators like three-dimensional scale, average slope, and adhesion characteristics of travelable area are obtained. According to the analysis methods of road roughness, the principle of analytic hierarchy process, and the data collected from off-road environment, the calculation model of road complexity is determined. Finally, by calculating complexities of several cross-country roads, the feasibility of this model is verified, which provides a theoretical support for the scientific calculation and quantitative analysis of different road complexities.

Description: We propose anlp-norm-penalized affine projection algorithm (LP-APA) for broadband multipath adaptive channel estimations. The proposed LP-APA is realized by incorporating anlp-norm into the cost function of the conventional affine projection algorithm (APA) to exploit the sparsity property of the broadband wireless multipath channel, by which the convergence speed and steady-state performance of the APA are significantly improved. The implementation of the LP-APA is equivalent to adding a zero attractor to its iterations. The simulation results, which are obtained from a sparse channel estimation, demonstrate that the proposed LP-APA can efficiently improve channel estimation performance in terms of both the convergence speed and steady-state performance when the channel is exactly sparse.

Description: The coal rock exhibits obvious heterogeneity and anisotropy after a long-term geological evolution in nature. Therefore, the coal rock CT (computed tomography) image shows uneven grey scale, low contrast, and the fractures with weak boundaries. The accurate segmentation of the coal rock fracture networks is challenging. In this paper, a segmentation method of fractures based on contour evolution and gradient direction consistency is proposed to accurately segment the fracture networks in the sequence of coal rock CT images. According to the contour variation rule of the fractures in the discrete 3D (three dimensional) space formed by the sequence of CT images, the fracture contour evolution model (FCEM) is constructed and the preliminary segmentation results of fractures are obtained from FCEM. A 3D adaptive median filtering (3DAMF) and a 3D bilateral filtering (3DBF) are proposed. The high density miscellaneous point noises in the coal rock CT images are filtered by the 3DAMF. And the boundaries of fractures are enhanced by 3DBF. According to the similarity of the preliminary segmentation results of fractures and the real contours of fractures, the preliminary segmentation results of fractures are optimized based on the gradient direction consistency model (GDCM) proposed in this paper to obtain the accurate boundaries of fractures. The fracture segmentation method proposed in this paper can obtain accurate boundaries of fractures with weak boundaries, and the experimental results show that the segmentation efficiency for sequence is high and adaptability is strong.

Description: Experiments on cofiring dried sewage sludge, wet sewage sludge with coal and polyethylene (PE) were carried out on a pilot scale 0.15MWt circulating fluidized bed combustion (CFBC) plant, and the influence of furnace temperatures, cofiring rates on N2O and NO emissions was investigated. Temperature is an effective parameter influencing N2O emission, and higher temperature leads to significant N2O reduction and decrease of conversion ratio of fuel-N to N2O. Increasing in cofiring rates leads to higher nitrogen content in the mixed fuel, which could result in higher NO and N2O emissions from combustion. With more sewage sludge addition, higher NO but lower N2O emissions are observed. N2O emission from cofiring wet sewage sludge with coal is higher than that from cofiring dried sewage sludge with coal and PE, and fuel-N conversion ratio to N2O and NO is much higher in cofiring wet sewage sludge with coal than that in cofiring dried sewage sludge with coal and PE.
