    Description / Table of Contents: Summary 1. On account of its transparency, a spot test plate made of Jena glass („Jenaer Glastüpfelplatte“) is suitable for all spot tests, no matter what colour the reaction products have. 2. It has been found that the greatest sensitivity is reached by working on a spot test plate which rests on a white or black background. A silver coloured paper gives a rather convenient background, both for bright and dark precipitates and hues. 3. By making spot tests with suitable standard solutions, on this plate, one can perform semi-quantitative analyses. 4. It is possible, on this plate, to determine the concentration of hydrogen ions with satisfying accuracy. 5. The new spot tests plate may be advantageously used for fluorescence tests and several microscopical examinations.
    Abstract: Résumé 1° La plaque de touche en verre d'Iéna (Jenaer Glastüpfelplatte) possède, grâce à sa transparence, toutes les qualités requises pour les réactions de touches, quelle que soit la couleur des produits de réaction. 2° On a constaté que la sensibilité maximale est atteinte en travaillant sur un fond blanc ou noir. Un papier couleur d'argent peut servir de fond, également convenable, pour les précipités (et colorations) clairs et foncés. 3° Au moyen de solutions types appropriées on peut exécuter, sur cette plaque, des analyses de touche sémi-quantitatives. 4° Sur la plaque en verre décrite, il est possible de déterminer la concentration des ions d'hydrogène, avec une précision satisfaisante. 5° Aussi, l'emploi de cette plaque offre des avantages pour les analyses par fluorescence et pour certaines recherches microscopiques.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung 1. Wegen ihrer Durchsichtigkeit eignet sich die Jenaer Glastüpfelplatte für sämtliche Tupfreaktionen, gleichgültig welche Farbe die Reaktionsprodukte besitzen. 2. Die größte Empfindlichkeit wurde beim Arbeiten mit weißer bzw. schwarzer Unterlage festgestellt. Als Untergrund sowohl für helle als auch für dunkle Niederschläge und Färbungen ist ein silberfarbiges Papier recht geeignet. 3. Durch Tüpfeln auf der Jenaer Glastüpfelplatte sind bei Verwendung entsprechender Vergleichslösungen halbquantitative Analysen ausführbar. 4. Die Bestimmung der Wasserstoffionenkonzentration ist auf der Glastüpfelplatte mit guter Genauigkeit möglich. 5. Für Fluoreszenzprüfungen und manche mikroskopische Untersuchungen wird die Glastüpfelplatte ebenfalls mit Vorteil verwendet.

    Notes: Abstract Optical isotope shifts of four lines in the atomic spectrum of xenon have been measured using enriched samples of all stable xenon isotopes. The spectrograms were recorded with the aid of a pressure-scanned Fabry-Pérot interferometer and analysed by digital data techniques. The measured isotope shifts are shown to be self-consistent by means of a King plot. An estimate of the specific mass effect is given and the changesδ 〈r 2〉 of the mean square radius of the nuclear charge distribution are extracted from the measured shifts. These changesδ 〈r 2〉 are discussed in terms of the nuclear deformation parameterβ 2. The results for the deformation of the stable even xenon isotopes are shown to be in good agreement with the systematic of deformation found for the neighbouring elements from Coulomb excitation experiments.

    Notes: Abstract The chemical composition of Cu y Cr2Se4−z Br x spinels depends strongly on the preparation parameters. Spinels with 0.8≲y≲1.2, 0.5≲x≲2, and 0≲z−x≲0.2 have been prepared. Whereas the lattice constanta o of these spinels differs only by less than approximately 0.6%, their Curie temperatureT c depends sensitively on the spinel composition. For Cu1.1Cr2Se3.4Bro.46,a o=1.0410 nm andT c=310 K were found to compared witha 0=1.0447 nm andT c=84 K of CuCr2Se2Br2.

    Description / Table of Contents: Summary The continuum theory of moving dislocations is mathematically analogue toMaxwell's equations of electrodynamics. This analogy shows that the present linear theory of dislocations is incomplete and must be supplemented by constitutive equations between dynamic and kinematic quantities. The generalized electrodynamics ofMie points the way to a Lagrange density. While, in the static case the stress funtions of the continuum are reaction forces with the task to prevent the moving of dislocations, they become impressed forces in the field of moving dislocations and are connectet with the dislocation density by constitutive equations.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Die Kontinuumstheorie wandernder Versetzungen steht in mathematischer Analogie zu denMaxwellschen Gleichungen der Elektrodynamik. Diese Analogie zeigt, daß die derzeitige lineare Versetzungstheorie unvollständig ist und durch konstitutive Gleichungen zwischen dynamischen und kinematischen Größen ergänzt werden muß. Die verallgemeinerte Elektrodynamik vonMie weist den Weg zu einer Lagrange-Dichte, die eine Funktion entweder der kinematischen oder der dynamischen Größen ist. Während die Spannungsfunktionen des Kontinuums im statischen Falle Reaktionskräfte sind, werden sie im Felde wandernder Versetzungen eingeprägte Kräfte, die über konstitutive Gleichungen mit den Versetzungsdichten verbunden sind.

    Description / Table of Contents: Preparation of LiAl[P(CH3)2]4 and Silylphosphines H3-x(CH3)xSi—P(CH3)2By metallation of HP(CH3)2 with LiC4H9 (in diglyme, at -40°C) and the subsequent reaction of the LiP(CH3)2 with AlCl3 the compound LiAl[P(CH3)2]4 is obtained (solution in diglyme). The reactions with H3SiBr, CH3SiH2Br, (CH3(2)SiHBr, and (CH3)3)SiCl results in the formation of H3SiP(CH3)2, CH3SiH2,—P(CH32, (CH3)2)SiHP(CH3)2, and (CH3)3Si—P(CH3)2 in large quantities.
    Notes: Durch Metallierung von HP(CH3)2 mit LiC4H9 in Diglym bei -40°C und anschließende Umsetzung des gebildeten LiP(CH3)2 mit AlCl3 wird das LiAl[P(CH3)2]4 zugänglich (Lösung in Diglym). Die Umsetzung mit H3SiBr, CH3SiH2Br, (CH3)2SiHBr und (CH3)3SiCl führt zur präparativen Darstellung von H3Si—P(CH3)2, CH3SiH2—P(CH3)2, (CH3)2SiH—P(CH3)2 (CH3)3Si—P(CH3)2.
