Lupin-Alkaloids, XL. Preparations and Reactions of Cyclic Enamines and Imonium SaltsBy reduction of lactams with diisobutylaluminium hydride enamines as well as the corresponding salts can be prepared. The stereochemistry of their dimerisation as well as several reactions with different types of compounds have been investigated. Michael- and Mannich-reactions, also intramolecular, are possible applications. The last method leads to a new stereospecific synthesis of spartein.

Durch Reduktion von Lactamen mit Diisobutylaluminiumhydrid können Enamine sowie die entsprechenden Imoniumsalze dargestellt werden. Die Stereochemie ihrer Dimerisierung sowie mehrere Reaktionen mit verschiedenen Typen von Verbindungen werden untersucht. Michael- und Mannich-Reaktionen, auch intramolekular, sind mögliche Anwendungen. Die letztgenannte Methode führt zu einer neuen stereospezifischen Spartein-Synthese.
