Cyclization of Non-tautomerizing anti-α-Aminohydrazones into N-AminoimidazolidinesThe α-aminoisobutyrophenone phenylhydrazones 3a - h have been prepared and their anti-configuration determined UV spectroscopically. Cyclization of 3 with phosgene yields the hexa-hydrotetrazine derivatives 5 which react with water to give the 3-anilino-4-hydroxyimidazolidin-2-ones 6 and with ethanol to give the 4-ethoxy products 8. Cycloaddition of 5 or 8 with alkenes furnishes the perhydroimidazo[3,4-b]pyrazol-3-ones 9.

Es wurden die α-Aminoisobutyrophenon-phenylhydrazone 3a - h hergestellt und ihre anti-Konfiguration UV-spektroskopisch ermittelt. Die Cyclisierung von 3 mit Phosgen führt zu den Hexahydrotetrazin-Derivaten 5, die mit Wasser in die 3-Anilino-4-hydroxyimidazolidin-2-one 6 und mit Ethanol in die 4-Ethoxyprodukte 8 übergehen. Cycloaddition von 5 oder 8 mit Alkenen liefert die Perhydroimidazo[3,4-b]pyrazol-3-one 9.
