    Description / Table of Contents: Contents Electromechanical convertion system contains three parts: the electrical system, the convertional device and the mechanical system. In the paper it is analyzed an electromechanical convertion realyzed by an electrical system, described by a first-order nonlinear differential equation, and a mechanical system described by a second-order linear differential equation. The convertional device analized in the paper, consists in the magnetoelectric measuring aparatus, that can perform torsional oscillations. it results from the analysis that if the working point of the electrical system is unstable the mechanical system performs sustained oscillations described by nonlinear differential equation of the type Rayleigh.
    Notes: Übersicht Die elektromechanische Konversionssysteme enthalten drei Teile: das elektrische System, die Konversionsanlage und das mechanische System. In der Arbeit wird die elektromechanische Konversion, die durch einer nichtlinearen Differentialgleichung erster Ordnung beschriebenes elektrisches System und ein durch einer linearer Differentialgleichung zweiter Ordnung beschriebenes mechanisches System, analysiert. Die untersuchte Konversionsanlage ist ein magnetselektrisches Messungsgerät, welches Torsionsschwingungen ausüben kann. Aus der Analyse folgt, daß neun der Arbeitspunkt des elektrischen Systems instabil ist, dann übt der mechanische System selbsterregte Schwingungen, die von einer nichtlinearen Differentialgleichung von Rayleighschem Typ beschrieben sind, aus.

    Notes: Conclusions The values obtained for the cross sections for formation of γ-lines (Eγ=4.44 MeV) in carbon agree with the data obtained by other researchers, within experimental error. The results of measurements for lead agree qualitatively with our understanding of the deexcitation of levels in the reaction (n, nγ) for En〈4 MeV. The energy distribution of γ-quanta for rhenium decreases smoothly with increasing Eγ. No irregularities, related to separate intense γ-transitions in the excited nucleus, are noticeable.

    Description / Table of Contents: Summary Experiments to check the principle of superposition have been carried out on concrete test pieces subjected to permanent compressive stresses. A series of test pieces was loaded under a stress σ for 7 days another under the same stress for 28 days and a third series tras loaded from 7 to 28 days under a stress σ, the stress there being doubled for 28 days. Deformation after 1,700 days loading was measured under three stresses (25, 50 and 75 bar). The Boltzmann principle of superposition is proved valid by interpretation of results taking into account the different types of testing inaccuracies although there remained a difference, of 10% between theory and test figures.
    Notes: Résumé Une étude expérimentale ayant pour but de vérifier le principe de superposition a été effectuée sur des éprowettes de béton soumises à des contraintes permanentes de compression. Une série d'éprouvettes a été chargée sous une contrainte σ à 7 jours, une autre sous la même contrainte à 28 jours et une troisième série d'éprouvettes chargée de 7 jours à 28 jours sous une contrainte σ, la contrainte étant ensuite doublée. L'étude des déformations après 1 700 jours de chargement sous trois contraintes (25, 50 et 75 bar), a été effectuée. L'interprétation des résultats prenant en compte les différentes sortes d'imprécisions expérimentales conduit à la vérification du principe de superposition de Boltzmann, bien qu'une différence de 10% existe entre la théorie et l'expérience.

    Notes: Conclusions The calculations of magnetic field in the NA4 spectrometer provided the magnetic field map for the reconstruction program. The field in iron is toroidal and decreases approximately logarithmically from 2·11 T at the inner edge to 1·77 T at the outer edge. The support of the magnet introduces a small disturbance at a level of 2% in the lower part of the magnet. A flow of the field through the support introduces a normal component of field in a narrow sector around the support leg. The multipole field in the hole has been neglected in the reconstruction program presently used.

    Notes: Abstract The energetic, spectral, and time characteristics of a high pressure CO2 laser at high pumping level are studied. It is shown that in the free generation regime high power radiation pulses R~ 10−8 sec in duration with a multifrequency spectrum can be obtained. Laser output characteristics are presented as functions of gas pressure, pumping energy, and resonator parameters.
