Conclusions A study of the original condition of high-speed steel powders showed that tile quantity of decomposed residual austenite depends upon the degree of its aging as the result of tempering and subsequent cooling of the steels in liquid nitrogen. The least stability of the residual austenite is characteristic of R0M6F3K8 and RI0M6F1K8 powders.
