Contents With direct current the resistance of a bar is reduced by applying a second parallel bar. With alternating current the ohmic resistance is however increased, if the two bars are of different material. For a single phase synchronous generator with 16 2/3 Hz for the supply of railways it has been shown by means of the Finite-Element method that the dc resistance of the end rings is reduced by the steel ring to 97%, whereas the ohmic ac resistance is increased up to 283%, which causes a corresponding temperature rise of the end rings. For a large two pole asynchronous motor at standstill the ohmic ac resistance of the copper end ring was increased to 269% by the fastening ring due to skin effect. Analytical approximations for an easy calculation of the corresponding additional losses are given and the influence of design and material is shown.

Übersicht Während bei Gleichstrom durch eine zweite, parallele Stromschiene der resultierende Widerstand verkleinert wird, wird dieser bei Wechselstrom hierdurch vergrößert, wenn die beiden Stromschienen aus unterschiedlichem Material bestehen. An einem Einphasen-Synchrongenerator für Bahnstrom mit 16 2/3 Hz wird mittels der Finiten-Elemente-Methode gezeigt, daß sich der resultierende Gleichstromwiderstand der beiden Endringe durch den Stahlring auf 97% verkleinert, der Wechselstromwirkwiderstand aber auf 283% erhöht, was fast eine Verdreifachung der Ringerwärmung zur Folge hat. Bei einem großen 2poligen Asynchronmotor erhöht sich der resultierende Wechselstromwirkwiderstand der beiden Endringe durch den Schrumpfring und die Stromverdrängung bei 50 Hz auf 269%. Analytische Näherungen zur praktischen Berechnung der hierdurch bedingten zusätzlichen Verluste werden angegeben und es wird auf Einflußgrößen hingewiesen.
