Description:
Hypericum anagalloides, a species from North America, was discovered in a water storage facility in
\nGroot Hoenlo (municipality of Olst, Province of Overijssel). This is the first time the species is found in the Netherlands. Up to now its origin is unclear. We describe the locality and the vegetation where the species was found. As
\nit shows signs of invasive behaviour we suggest to be alert for new localities and to extend the identification key in
\nHeukels\xe2\x80\x99 Flora to enable fast recognition and action.
Description:
In Groot Hoenlo (gemeente Olst, Overijssel) is een Hertshooi aangetroffen die een nieuwe soort
\nvoor Nederland blijkt te zijn, Hypericum anagalloides. Deze soort is afkomstig uit Noord Amerika en blijkt ook
\nop enkele andere plekken in Europa aanwezig te zijn. Het is onduidelijk hoe deze soort in Groot Hoenlo terecht
\nis gekomen. De soort groeit in een waterbergingsterrein in een halfopen vegetatie van nat schraalland dan wel
\ngeplagde heide op een vochtige minerale bodem, waar na sterke regenval plassen kunnen blijven staan. Omdat
\nde soort tot woekeren in staat lijkt doen wij een voorstel om de determinatiesleutel in Heukels\xe2\x80\x99 Flora uit te breiden
\nzodat de soort goed herkend kan worden en snel tot actie kan worden overgegaan. De Nederlandse naam voor
\nde soort is Penninghertshooi
