Description:
Evidence strongly indicates that terrestrial weather conditions are closely related to changes in solar emission at certain wave lengths. Although this work is confined to weather conditions at one specific location (Kansas City, Missouri), there is reason to believe that similar correlations, with probable changes in phasing and/or timing, may be noted in other areas. Correlations of the type noted should be of considerable value to agriculture and to other interests depending on general forecasting. The results, if valid, are of great theoretical importance and promise improved forecasting methods applicable to both daily and longer term forecasting.
