Description:
Article Type I interferons (IFNs) have pleiotropic functions in the immune system. Here, the authors evaluate transcriptional signatures generated by type I IFN under distinct T helper cell differentiation programmes and show that, depending on the cytokine context, IFN-α differentially modulates the global cytokine profile of each T helper subset.
