Conclusions 1. The fatigue strength of alloy 01420 is higher than that of alloy AVT1 in air and, particularly, in a corrosive medium. 2. The 01240T1 alloy has a lower specific weight elasticity modulus, fairly high strength properties under static and cyclic loading, and high corrosion resistance in comparison with alloys of the Avial and duralumin types, and is a very promising material for machine building. The saving in weight resulting from the use of alloy 01420 is 12–20%.
