Notes: The Fe-Al-X and Fe-Al-Ni-X (X = Fe,Ni,Cu,Cr) metallic powders obtained by the selfdecompositionmethod and next intensive grinding in an electro-magneto-mechanical millwere examined by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). Morphology of powders was determinedby scanning electron microscopy (SEM) whereas energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) wasapplied to identify the composition of phases. The FeAlX and FeAlNiX phases both of B2type structure were found besides small amounts of Al(OH)3 and rest of metallic additions

Notes: The E 1Σ+g "shelf '' state of the 7Li2 molecule was investigated using a pulsed optical optical double resonance technique. The measurements cover the vibrational levels in the range 0≤v≤29 including the shelf region around 13≤v≤15. Molecular constants have been determined. Using an inverted perturbation approach, an effective potential energy curve has been generated within the adiabatic approximation whose quantum mechanical energy eigenvalues reproduce all the measured term values to within 0.113 cm−1 for the range 0≤v≤23 and 0≤J≤47.

Notes: There is now considerable evidence in the literature that the ordinary least squares assumptions fail to hold when estimating the market model parameters. This paper describes a robust estimation procedure which provides automatic protection against departures from normality. The market model parameters are then estimated for a sample of securities using both the least squares method and the robust procedure. Analysis shows that the results under the two procedures may differ considerably.

Notes: In this paper, the suboptimal algorithm of adaptive control system is presented, which is specially adjusted for automatic flight control systems of general aviation and commuter aircraft, and unmanned aircraft (UMA) that conduct flights in atmospheric turbulence. At first, the method could be applied for correcting these changes in flight dynamics parameters, which cannot be compensated with the aid of an open adaptation loop. At the same time, full identification of aircraft model in real time is not required. This method is based on the estimation of most typical parameters of the aircraft mathematical model, which are most closely related to parameters, which are unmeasurable during flight, like aircraft real mass and position of center of gravity. The structure of an adaptation algorithm of aircraft flight control laws is based on the expert knowledge in the field of flight dynamics and is the result of optimization calculations. The examples which show attaining better flight comfort of the PZL M20, "Mewa" general aviation aircraft and quality improvement of the UMA, "Vector" pitch angle automatic control, have been presented.

Notes: In this paper, results of the flight-testing of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flight control system are presented. APC-4 "SkyGuide" autonomous navigation and control system, designed and developed by the research team of the Department of Avionics and Control at Rzeszów University of Technology, has been tested. Properties of this flight control system, as well as selected results of the in-flight tests conducted on board of the PZL-110 "Koliber" aircraft, are presented. Results obtained confirm that design assumptions of the navigation and control system and research methodology have been appropriate and APC-4 autopilot can be used on UAVs board.

Notes: Rzeszów University of Technology has undertaken the task of designing and providing of equipment to a flying laboratory. This paper presents basic design principles of the Inertial Reference Unit (IRU) which employs measuring signals from the Fiber Optic Gyros (FOG), accelerometers and electronic compass module. A microcomputer follows the algorithm of complementary filtration for of calculating the Euler angles for the aircraft attitude (pitch, roll and heading), angular rates, and linear accelerations. The correction systems that minimize error of the steady-state measuring have been employed. The results of computer simulations, lab tests and selected flight tests have also been presented. The Inertial Reference Unit µIRU-1 was tested in flight on board of the general aviation aircraft PZL-110 "Koliber". It has been confirmed that metrological properties of the system are appropriate for the purposes of teaching process. Currently, a modified version of the unit is being prepared. The new IRU is planned as a main reference unit for integrated flight control system of general aviation aircraft.

Notes: A proposal of the perspective solution of the general aviation aircraft control system is presented. The objective of the proposed concept for the control system is to assist pilots with limited aviation training by: automatic stabilization of the aircraft's attitude, altitude, airspeed, and heading and decoupling of the flight controls. The structure and main functions of the control system is presented, and method of control laws synthesis is proposed. Flight control system is based on the model-following design technique. Two kinds of flight control systems are taken into consideration. The first solution is based on the optimal full-state feedback controller, the second one is the simplified controller, using the easy observed states for feedback loop only. The project calculation of the flight control system for PZL-110 "Koliber" aircraft, computer simulations and preliminary flight testing results will be presented.
