Notes:
The three-body abrasive wear behavior of Acetal/20 wt % carbon or glass fiber composites has been investigated as a function of sliding velocity and normal load. The observed data have been explained analytically by a new abrasion model developed from the concepts of crack propagation, energy balance, and Newtonian mechanics.
