    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Проведён синтез моно-, ди- и трифосфиновых литандов, закр еплённых связью Si−C с поверхностью силикагеля. Получены комплексные соедине ния Pd(II) и Pd(O) с этими лигандами. На основании данных элементного анализа и УФ-спектроскопии предложены структуры образуюшихся комплексов. Сопоставлены катал итические свойства полученных комплексов в реакции селективного гидриров ания циклопентадиена.
    Notes: Abstract Mono-, di- and triphosphine ligands anchored by a Si−C bond to the surface of silica have been synthesized. Complexes of Pd(II) and Pd(O) with these ligands have been obtained. On the basis of elemental analysis and UV spectroscopy, structures of the complexes formed are suggested. The catalytic properties of the above complexes in the selective hydrogenation of cyclopentadiene are compared.

    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Наряду с другими продуктами были получены высшие олефины линейной структуры в олигомеризации этилена при низкой температуре с селективностью 30–58 вес.% и линейностью до 85%. Активированные титан- и цирконий-содержащие комплексы, используемые в качестве катализаторов, были закреплены на SiO2 через связанные на поверхности бидентатные S- и N-содержащие лиганды. При этом первые оказались лучшими, чем последние, с точки зрения качества продукта.
    Notes: Abstract Besides other products, linear middle-range olefins were obtained in the low temperature oligomerization of ethylene with a selectivity of 30–58% and a linearity up to 85%. Activated ticanium and zirconium complexes as catalysts were attached to SiO2 through surface bounded bidentate S- and N-containing ligands, the former being superior to the latter with respect to product quality.

Исследовано влияние степени окисления иона палладия и кислотности спиртов на скорость реакции винильного обмена. Предложен возможный механизм реакции винильного обмена.
    Notes: Abstract Catalytic properties of Pd complexes with phosphine ligands anchored to silica have been studied. The valence state of Pd and the acidity of the alcohol were found to influence the rate of vinyl exhange. A possible reaction mechanism is proposed.

    Notes: Abstract Properties, structural features, and basic principles for the synthesis of some new carbon-carbonaceous composite materials (CCM) originating at the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis are discussed. The CCM are synthesized via chemical growth of carbon deposits in a pre-formed porous carbon matrix. Among the CCM are: Sibunit produced by supporting pyrocarbon (PC) on carbon black granules, carbon filaments (CFC) produced by decomposition of CH4 over Ni or Ni−Cu catalysts, CFC on Sibunit, CFC on ultradispersed diamond, and systems such as CFC/CFC, PC/CFC, etc. Basic mechanisms of structure and texture formation of CCM and some of their properties as adsorbents and catalyst supports are reported.

    Notes: Abstract Cellular carbon has been prepared by pyrolysis of a propane—butane mixture in a flow reactor at 700–1250 K. Its structural characteristics were studied by scanning electron microscopy, high resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and adsorption methods. It was shown that cell-type carbon possesses a unique structure in contrast to carbon composite “Sibunnit” and filamentous carbons and it may be a promising support for catalyst preparation.

    Notes: Abstract High resolution electron microscopy methods have been used to study the sintering of Pd particles on the surface of carbon support.     Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Найдены новые системы — иммобилизованные на силикагеле порфирины железа, обладающие монооксигеназной активностью в реакции окисления анилина в п-аминофенол. Показано, что каталитическая активность зависит как от структуры порфирина, так и от координации аксиальным лигандом. Максимальной активностью в данной реакции обладает гемин, координированный имидазолом. Показано, что гидроксилирование в данной системе осуществляется нерадикальным путём.
    Notes: Abstract New silica-immobilized iron(III) porphyrin systems possessing monooxygenase activity in aniline oxidation to p-aminophenol, have been found. The catalytic activity depends on both the porphyrin structure and coordination by an axial ligand. The maximum activity in this reaction is observed for imidazol-coordinated hemin. The hydroxylation in the above system is shown to follow a non-radical mechanism.

    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Изучено влияние состава реакционной среды на скорость окисления анилина в п-аминиофенол перекисью водорода на гемине, иммобилизованном на силикагеле, модифицированном γ-пропил-имидащолом. Показано, что добавки органических растворителей (спиртов, эфиров, нитрилов) повышают скорость реакции. Наблюдаемый эффект объяснён уменяшением дизлектрической проницаемости среды.
    Notes: Abstract The effect of the composition of the reaction medium on the rate of aniline oxidation to p-aminophenol by hydrogen peroxide on hemin immobilized on γ-propylimidazole-modified silica has been studied. Organic solvent additives (alcohols, esters and nitriles) are shown to increase the reaction rate. The observed effect is attributed to the decrease of the medium dielectric constant.
