Conclusions The relation between the thermodesorption parameters for Co, CO2, and H2O and the activity of copper oxide-zinc-aluminum-calcium catalysts has been discussed. It is suggested that high catalytic activity is associated with high CO, and low CO2 and H2O, adsorption on the nonuniform surface. The thermodesorption parameters are determined by the oxidation-reduction treatment to which the catalyst has been subjected.
