Description / Table of Contents:
In contrast with antimony(V) halogenides and antimony(V) alkoxyhalogenides, the compounds of the types R3SbCl2, R3SbClOCH3, and R2SbCl3 (R = CH3-;C6H5CH2-) exhibit no electrolytic dissoziation in polar solvents and no aggregation in non-polar solvents.Attempts to prepare compounds of the types R3SbClOH and R2SbCl2OH in the solid state failed; instead of these, the dimeric compounds R3SbClOSbClR3 und R2SbCl2OSbCl2R2 (R = C6H5-; C6H5CH2-) have been isolated.
Notes:
R2SbCl2OSbCl2R2 (R = C6H5-, C6H5CH2-).
