Tamura Polar zinc titanate (ZnTiO 3 ) is a promising lead-free ferroelectric compounds with high spontaneous polarization of 75 μ C / c m 2 , which is comparable with that of PbTiO 3 . In this work a collaboration of researchers from Germany, UK, and USA present a detailed investigation of vibrational properties of ZnTiO 3 via the high-pressure Raman spectroscopy, second-harmonic generation, and textit{ab initio} calculations.
