Conclusions 1. The treatment of experimental data obtained in the adsorption of nitrogen and oxygen on NaX zeolite has led to values of Henry's constant for both gases, the logarithm of which is a linear function of the reciprocal temperature. 2. In the inverval 250–303°K, the adsorption isosteres of the components of the N2-O2 mixture are practically linear for all compositions of the adsorbate; this makes it possible, first, to calculate the thermodynainic parameters of the equilibrium adsorption of the components N2 and O2 within as well as outside the investigated temperature interval; second, the determination of the isosteric heats of adsorption of the components of the mixture is made significantly simpler. 3. Equations have been derived for the calculation of the isosteric heats of adsorption of the components of a binary gas mixture on adsorbents with fine pores for a nonideal single-component adsorbate and for an ideal gas phase.
