    Description / Table of Contents: Thermisch stabile, heterocyclische Polyester mit Imid- und Phenylchinoxalingruppen wurden durch Lösungspolykondensation von Bis(hydroxyphenylchinoxalin)-Derivaten mit Dicarbonsäuredichloriden oder von Bis(aminophenylchinoxalin)-Derivaten mit Estergruppen enthaltenden Dicarbonsäureanhydriden hergestellt. Die thermische Stabilität dieser Polymeren wird diskutiert und mit der von verwandten heterocyclischen Polymeren verglichen. Elektrische Eigenschaften der Polykondensate wurden ebenfalls untersucht.
    Notes: Thermostable, heterocyclic polyesters containing imide and phenylquinoxaline units have been synthesized by solution polycondensation of bis(hydroxyphenylquinoxaline) derivatives with diacid dichlorides containing preformed imide rings or by the reaction of bis(aminophenylquinoxaline) derivatives with dianhydrides containing ester groups. The thermal stability of these compounds is discussed and compared with related heterocyclic polymers. Electrical properties of the polycondensates were also studied.

    Description / Table of Contents: Durch Polykondensation von α,ω-Diaminen mit p-nitrophenylsubstituierten Chinoxalingruppen und α,ω-Dicarbonsäuredichloriden mit Imidringen wurden neue thermostabile Polymere erhalten, die sowohl substituierte Chinoxalin-Gruppen und Imid-Ringe als auch flexible Amid-Funktionen enthalten. Diese Polymeren weisen eine im Vergleich zu entsprechenden Polymeren ohne Nitrogruppen bessere Löslichkeit auf; sie sind außerdem thermisch sehr stabil und verfügen über gute elektrische Isolationseigenschaften.
    Notes: New thermostable polymers containing p-nitrophenyl substituted quinoxaline units and imide rings as well as flexible amide groups have been synthesized by polycondensation reaction of a diaminoquinoxaline derivative carrying p-nitrophenyl substituents with diacid dichlorides incorporating preformed imide cycles. These polymers show better solubility compared to related products which do not contain nitro groups. They have also a high thermal stability and good electrical insulating properties.

    Notes: A series of new poly(1,3,4-oxadiazole-amide)s containing pendent imide groups has been synthesized by solution polycondensation of aromatic diamines containing preformed 1,3,4-oxadiazole rings with two diacid chlorides containing imide rings. These polymers were also prepared by the reaction of the same diacid chlorides with p-aminobenzhydrazide which were subsequently cyclodehydrated in solid state. The polymers were soluble in polar amidic solvents and some of them gave transparent flexible films by casting from solutions. They showed high thermal stability with decomposition temperatures above 400°C and glass transition temperatures in the range of 245-327°C. They had low dielectric constants, in the range of 3.32-3.94, and good tensile properties.

    Notes: New poly(phenylquinoxaline-ester-imide)s have been synthesized by solution polycondensation of certain dianhydrides containing performed ester groups with aromatic diamines incorporating phenyl-substituted quinoxaline units. The thermal stability as well as the dielectric properties of these compounds are discussed and compared with those of related heterocyclic polymers.

Die Polymere sind in polaren aprotischen Lösungsmitteln leicht löslich und ermöglichen die Herstellung von transparenten Filmen mit hoher thermischer Stabilität und gutem elektrischen Isolationsverhalten.
    Notes: Poly(phenylquinoxaline-imide-amide)s have been prepared by low-temperature solution polycondensation of aromatic diamines containing preformed phenylquinoxaline units and amide or imide groups with diacid chlorides of certain dicarboxylic acids incorporating imide rings. These polymers are easily soluble in polar aprotic solvents and give transparent films with high thermal stability and good electrical insulation properties.

    Description: Aluminophosphate glasses belonging to the Li 2 O–BaO–Al 2 O 3 – La 2 O 3 –P 2 O 5 system doped with Tb 3+ were prepared and investigated. Methods as Induced Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), Induced Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) have been used to establish the elemental composition of these vitreous materials. The influence of the Tb 3+ ions on the optical properties of the phosphate glasses has been investigated in relation with the structural characteristics of the vitreous matrix. The optical behavior has been studied by ultra-violet-visible (UV–Vis) spectroscopy, revealing electronic transitions specific for terbium ions. Fluorescence spectroscopy measurements have been performed by excitation in the UV and visible domains (377 nm and 488 nm) which resulted in the most significant fluorescence peaks in the Vis domain (540 and 547 nm...
