Type and Energetic Height of the Lowest Triplet Level in Dihalomaleic AnhydridesDichloro-, dibromo- and diiodomaleic anhydrides show on excitation in the edge of the longest wavelength absorption band a phosphorescence emission, which, due to a photodissociation process, disappears on excitation with light of shorter wavelength. Dichlor-, Dibrom- und Dijodmaleinsäureanhydrid zeigen bei Anregung in der längstwelligen Absorptionskante eine Phosphoreszenz-Emission, die aufgrund eines Photodissoziationsprozesses bei der Einstrahlung kürzerwelliger Erregerstrahlung verschwindet. Triplettenergie, Singulett-Triplett-Aufspaltung sowie Phosphoreszenz-Lebensdauer der Derivate wurden bestimmt. Der emittierende Term gehört offensichtlich zu einer 3(ππAbkürzung für Maleinsäureanhydrid.)Configuration.
