Auch bei der Analyse der Wetterkarte dominieren heute die objektiven rechnerischen Methoden, können jedoch derzeit die Arbeit des Meteorologen noch nicht ganz ersetzen. Wesentlich neue Erkenntnisse brachte auch die Satellitenmeteorologie.
