    Notes: Zusammenfassung Durch Messungen in 10−5, 10−4 und 10−3 N benzolischen Lösungen von Zn-di-i-propylsalizylat haben wir einen beträchtlichen Einfluss von Turbulenz auf Strömungsströme feststellen können. Dieser Einfluss kann ausgedrückt werden durch einen Faktorf, der in einem unserer Experimente einen Wert vonf=66 erreichte; aus den Werten vonf kann die Dicke der diffusen Doppelschicht in der Flüssigkeit berechnet werden.

    Notes: Résumé Nous avons étudié l'adsorption négative des anions I*O 3 − et Cr*O 4 −− à différents bentonites en fonction d'électrolytes additionnés. Pour les électrolytes NaCl et Na2SO4 les résultats sont en bon accord avec ceux deSchofield etMattson; nous avons étudié aussi l'effet de l'addition de solutions de CaCl2; celles-ci produisent le même effet à des dilutions 20 fois plus grandes que les solutions de NaCl. Comme ceci ne peut pas être expliqué sur la base de la théorie deDebye-Hückel, nous avons appliqué la théorie exacte de la couche double; le facteur 20 mentionné plus haut mène à une valeur deξ=−75 mV. En introduisant cette valeur deζ, une représentation graphiquesδ−1/√c pour les résultats des expériences au Na-bentonite + solutions de NaCl, donne une surface spécifique de 1110 m2/g.

    Notes: Zusammenfassung Die spezifische Oberfläche von BaSO4-Niederschlägen wurde bestimmt durch Messung des Austausches von Oberflächen-Ba-Ionen mitγ-radioaktiven Ba131-Ionen (spezifische Aktivität etwa 1 mc/g) einer gesättigten BaSO4-Lösung. Die spezifische Oberfläche war 5150 cm2/g. Dann wurden die Adsorptionsisothermen von Farbstoffen (Kristallviolett, Methylenblau und Pikrinsäure) an der Oberfläche von BaSO4-Teilchen bestimmt. Unter der Annahme, dass jedes Farbstoffmolekül im adsorbierten Zustand eine Oberfläche von 100 A2 einnimmt, ergab sich ein maximaler Besetzungsgrad von 22–30%.
