Conclusions The model developed makes it possible to sufficiently adequately describe the temperature change in the working zone of production equipment during induction heating of a graphite mold. The selection of heating conditions (power of the equipment), which has a significant influence on the thermal condition of the equipment, must be determined taking into consideration the requirements imposed on the level of operating temperature, the allowable temperature gradient in the working zone, and also the time for heating of the mold.
