Abstract The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space groupP21/n (No. 14),a=14.923(2),b=4.165(2),c=18.097(2) Å,β=106.40(1)°,Z=4. The structure was solved by direct methods, and refined by full-matrix least squares toR=0.048 for 1313 observed reflections. Inter- and intramolecular hydrogen bonding is observed, the latter resulting in the formation of dimers.
