Conclusions 1. The building of the Old Visitors Courtyard was the second project after building of the underground structure at the Manezhnyi site, where scientific-technical tracking of geotechnical operations, a component part of which was the monitoring of its construction in the beds and foundations portion, was carried out in full. 2. Strengthening of the OVC foundations by piles injected into predrilled holes confirmed the effectiveness of their use in reconstructing the underground sections of buildings under complex geologic—engineering conditions. 3. The absolute average settlement of the OVC building exceeded somewhat the conditional limiting deformation, and the relative nonuniformity of settlements was within allowable limits.
