Description:
Article Molecular and functional differences between induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) derived from distinct cell types have been described. Here the authors show, by comparing human iPSCs derived from fibroblasts or cord blood, that the competence in activating developmental genes upon differentiation is influenced by the donor cell of origin.
