Conclusions Numerous technological investigations were carried out for establishing the composition and the technology of a concrete based on electromelted ZrO2 and a barium aluminate-zirconate binder. The optimum composition of the concrete and the quantity of the barium aluminate-zirconate binder were established. The strength characteristics and the electrophysical and thermophysical properties of the developed concrete were determined. Based on the conducted tests, it can be concluded that the developed concrete is a promising material for service at a temperature exceeding 2000 K.
