Conclusions 1. An experimental study was made, involving determination of numerical values of the quantities investigated, of the effects of relative reduction, porosity, the numer of net layers in the compact, and warp net spacing upon contact pressure, and the radius coefficient of equivalent metal pressure on the rolls in the hot rolling of compacts assembled from smooth Kh18N10T steel filter nets. 2. It was established that the power parameters in the axial hot rolling of smooth filter nets are determined mainly by the reduction, porosity, and net spacing on the warp; the effect of the number of net layers in the compact is negligible.
