    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die folgende Arbeit enthält zwei neue Algorithmen zur Bestimmung der Menge sämtlicher maximaler vollständiger Untergraphen (Cliquen) eines endlichen ungerichteten Graphen. Die Methoden verwenden spezielle Baumsuchalgorithmen. Die blockweise Erzeugung aller Cliquen führt zu charakteristischen Eigenschaften der Algorithmen, die eine effiziente Berechnung spezieller Untermengen von Cliquen, u.a. die Menge aller Cliquen von maximaler Länge, ermöglichen. Überdies erlaubt die Struktur beider Algorithmen die Berechnung der vollständigen Cliquenmenge auf parallel arbeitenden Rechnern. Die Algorithmen wurden an umfangreichen Serien charakteristischer Graphen getestet und mit dem wirksamsten der den Autoren bekannten Algorithmen, dem Algorithmus von Bron-Kerbosch (Algorithm 457 of CACM), verglichen.
    Notes: Abstract Making use of special tree search algorithms the present paper describes two new methods for determining all maximal complete subgraphs (cliques) of a finite nondirected graph. In both methods the blockwise generation of all cliques induces characteristic properties, which guarantee an efficient calculation of special clique subsets, especially the set of all cliques of maximal length. Moreover, by their structure both algorithms allow to calculate the complete clique set by parallel processing. The algorithms have been tested for many series of characteristic graphs and compared with the algorithm of Bron-Kerbosch (Algorithm 457 of CACM) the most efficient algorithm which is known to the authors.

    Description / Table of Contents: A pycnometric method is described. It allows to determine the densities of crystals and their mother solutions by measuring the volums of at least two mixtures of crystals and solution, without separating each other.For the first time the densities have been determined of the compounds NaCl · 2 H2O (at -10,0° C), NH4J · NH3 (at 22,1° C and a tension of ammonia of 662,2 torr), NH4Br · 3 NH3 (at -23,8° C and 796,0 torr) of their saturated solutions, respectively.
    Notes: Es wird ein pyknometrisches Verfahren beschrieben, das es gestattet, durch Messung der Volumina mindestens zweier verschiedener Gemische von Bodenkörper und Lösung deren Dichten zu bestimmen, ohne daß Bodenkörper und Lösung voneinander getrennt werden müssen.Nach diesem Verfahren wurden erstmalig die Dichten der Verbindungen NaCl · 2 H2O (bei -10,0° C), NH4J · NH3 (bei 22,1° C und 662,2 Torr NH3-Dampfdruck) und NH4Br · 3 NH3 (bei -23,8° C und 796,0 Torr NH3-Druck), sowie die ihrer gesättigten Lösungen bestimmt.

    Description / Table of Contents: The system NH4J/NH3 has been investigated between -35° and + 25°C at ammonia pressures ranging from 0 to 760 torr. A limitation of intervals has been established in which solid or liquid phases exist on their one or together in equilibrium with gaseous ammonia, the various phases being either stable or metastable. For each phase, vapour pressure equations have been derived. Thereby it is possible to describe the properties and the behaviour of the system practically anywhere within the limits given above.
    Notes: Das System NH4J/NH3 wurde zwischen -35° und + 25°C bei NH3-Dampfdrucken von 0 bis 760 Torr untersucht. Die vorgenommene Abgrenzung der Gebiete, in denen feste und flüssige Phasen allein oder gemeinsam neben der NH3-Gasphase stabil oder metastabil auftreten, und die für verschiedene Phasen ermittelten Dampfdruckgleichungen ermöglichen es, Aussagen über Eigenschaften und Verhalten des Systems praktisch an jedem Punkt des untersuchten Bereiches zu machen.

Die für die festen Phasen NH4-2-nitrophenolat · NH3, NH4-4-nitrophenolat · (2 und 0,5) NH3 und für gesättigte Lösungen ermittelten Dampfdruckgleichungen ermöglichten es, Aussagen über Eigenschaften und Verhalten der Systeme praktisch an jedem Punkt des untersuchten Bereiches zu machen. Die Dichten der Phasen wurden bei -34°C gemessen.

    Description / Table of Contents: A method is described for the indirect analysis of a binary system solution/solid The composition of the solid phase is estimated by separating the solution under the conditions of equilibrium and determining one component of the liquid phase.The method described is suited especially for investigations at temperatures different from room temperature and for investigations of systems exhibiting decomposition pressures as high as one atmosphere.Measurements are reported of the system NH4J/NH3 at temperatures down to -20°C and at ammonia pressures up to 650 torr.
    Notes: Eine indirekte Analysenmethode wird beschrieben, bei der die flüssige Phase eines binären Lösungssystems von der festen unter den im Gleichgewichtszustand herrschenden Bedingungen abgetrennt und die Zusammensetzung des Bodenkörpers durch Bestimmung einer Komponente in der Lösungsphase ermittelt wird.Die Methode eignet sich vor allem für Untersuchungen bei von Zimmertemperatur abweichenden Temperaturen und für Untersuchungen von Lösungssystemen, die einen merklichen Zersetzungsdampfdruck (bis zu 1 Atmosphäre) aufweisen.Es wird über Messungen im System NH4J/NH3 bei Temperaturen bis -20°C und 650 Torr NH3-Dampfdruck berichtet.

From DEBYE-SCHERRER and interference goniometer diagrams the dimensions of the tetragonal cell are found to be a = 7.19, c = 10.18 Å; Z = 4; DX-ray = 2.04 g/cm3.
    Notes: Kristallpulver der Verbindung NH4J · NH3 wurden röntgenometrisch bei Raumtemperatur und NH3-Dampfdrucken bis etwa 700 Torr untersucht. DEBYE-SCHERRER-Aufnahmen und Aufnahmen mittels Zählrohr-Interferenz-Goniometer ergaben tetragonale Symmetrie mit den Gitterkonstanten a = 7,19 und c = 10,18 Å; Z = 4; Dr = 2,04 g/cm3.

    Description / Table of Contents: The system NH4Br/NH3 has been investigated between -78°C and +10°C at ammonia pressures from 0 to 760 torr. The extrapolation until 1500 torr together with the data of ROOZEBOOM yield the t-x diagram in the range from -80°C to +40°C and the p-t-x diagram which was investigated between 0 and 90 mol-% NH3 up to +20°C. For each phase, vapour pressure equations have been derived. The previously unknown ammonium bromide tetrammine melts incongruently at -58.6°C.
    Notes: Das System NH4Br/NH3 wurde zwischen -78° und +10°C bei NH3-Dampfdrucken von 0 bis 760 Torr untersucht. Nach Extrapolation und Ergänzung der Messungen mit Daten ROOZEBOOMs konnten das vollständige Zustandsdiagramm von -80° bis +40°C und die Zustandsfläche des Systems bis 1500 Torr, 90 Mol-% NH3 und +20 °C dargestellt werden. Dampfdruckgleichungen für die verschiedenen Phasen wurden ermittelt. Das bisher unbekannte Ammoniumbromid-Tetrammin besitzt einen inkongruenten Schmelzpunkt bie -58,6°C.
