Conclusions 1. Rubidium peroxohydrocarbonate RbHCO4 was obtained by the reaction of carbon dioxide with aqueous solutions of rubidium hydroxide in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. 2. The purity of the obtained compound was corroborated by the differential thermal analysis method and determination of the density. 3. The position of the proton as being in the peroxo anion HCO 4 − , and not in the crystallization hydrogen peroxide, was confirmed by the NMR method.
