Conclusions 1. Aluminizing of types 10Kh18N10T-VD and 10Kh12N22T3MR chrome-nickel austenitic stainless steels at 900–950°C with subsequent annealing leads to the formation of a dense FeAl-and Feα-base diffusion layer which adheres well to the base. 2. A thin layer of Ni3(Al, Ti) intermetallide is formed on the interface of the FeAl and Feα phase.
