General information on the methods of lactone polymerization has been given. The method applied in this study for obtaining poly(∊-caprolactone) with the use of sodium derivatives of ethanediol, diethylene glycol, 1,5-pentanediol, and 1,10-decanediol has been discussed, and the results of the experiments have been given. The properties of cast urethane elastomers prepared from the obtained poly(∊-caprolactone) have also been presented.
