Conclusions 1. Very light-colored, markedly deresined oils with low carbon residues, good viscosity-temperature properties, and containing less than 1% sulfur can be obtained from distillates and deasphaltates of Ust'-Balyk petroleum by adsorption treatment (without contact finishing). 2. The second product — desorbed raffinates (or oils) — consists of concentrates of aromatic hydrocarbons and compounds with low contents of resinous compounds. 3. As regards their group and hydrocarbon compositions, motor oils of Ust'-Balyk petroleum differ from Tuimazy oils by the higher content of isoparaffinic, naphthenic, and naphthenic-aromatic hydrocarbons, and the smaller content of aromatic hydrocarbons.
