Sulfurdioxide as Ligand and Synton. V. Ni(PMe2Ph)3(SO2) - a Nickel(0) Complex with η1-pyramidal Coordinated SO2Ni(PMe2Ph)3(SO2) was synthesized by reaction of SO2 with a solution of Ni(COD)2 and PMe2Ph in tetrahydrofuran. The compound crystallizes cubically in the space group Pa3 with a = 17.991 Å and Z = 8. For the first time a pyramidal coordination of SO2 was found for a complex of the composition NiL3(SO2). The most important structural parameters are: Ni—S 2.001 Å, Ni—P 2.002 Å, S—O 1.451 Å, and the bond angle O—S—O 92.6°.

Ni(PMe2Ph)3(SO2) wurde synthetisiert durch Reaktion von SO2 mit Ni(COD)2 und PMe2Ph in einer Lösung von THF. Die Verbindung kristallisiert kubisch in der Raumgruppe Pa3 mit a = 17,991 Å und Z = 8. Erstmalig wurde in einem Komplex der Zusammensetzung NiL3(SO2) eine pyramidale Koordination des SO2 gefunden. Die wichtigsten Strukturparameter sind: Ni—S 2,001 Å, Ni—P 2,002 Å, S—O 1,451 Å und der Bindungswinkel O—S—O 92,6°.
