Beschreibung:
Article Genes encoding two pore-forming toxins (γ-haemolysins HlgAB and HlgCB) are present in almost all human Staphylococcus aureus isolates. Here Spaan et al. show that HlgAB and HlgCB target different phagocyte types by interacting with specific chemokine receptors and complement receptors, respectively.
