Description / Table of Contents: The Reaction of Triphenylphosphine/Carbon Tetrachloride with Carbamoyl HalidesSimultaneous action of triphenylphosphine and carbon tetrachloride on carbamoyl chlorides and fluorides leads to the formation of isocyanates and dihalogenphosphoranes. The mechanism of this reaction is discussed.
