Description:
Article Evidence suggests that the TCA cycle enzyme complex succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) may be dispensable for cell proliferation in some cancer cells. Here the authors show that SDH deficient cells become dependent on the mitochondrial enzyme pyruvate carboxylase for aspartate production and proliferation.
