    Description / Table of Contents: Mass Spectrometric Investigation of Tungsten PentabromideBy means of the Knudsen effusion method the heat of sublimation of WBr5 has been measured and the enthalpy of formation of WBr5(g) has been calculated. Results see „Inhaltsübersicht“.
    Notes: Die Sublimations-Enthalpie von WBr5 wurde mit Hilfe einer massenspektrometrischen Knudsen-Effusionsmethode im Temperaturbereich von 359-417 K gemessen.Aus den Meßergebnissen wurde berechnet: ΔH° (subl. WBr5, 298) = 26,3 ± 0,8 Kcal/mol.Unter Verwendung der Bildungsenthalpie von festem WBr5 (-74,5 ± 3 Kcal/mol, [4]), folgt hieraus die Bildungsenthalpie vom gasförmigen WBr5ΔHf° (WBr5,g, 298) = -48,2 ± 3,8 Kcal/mol.

    Description / Table of Contents: Mass-spectrometric and Gravimetric KNUDSEN Effusion Measurements on Tungsten Dioxidedibromide, WO2Br2The sublimation enthalpy ΔH0 (subl., WO2Br2, 298) of WO2Br2 has been determined by means of the abovementioned methods and using an approximate ΔCp (subl.) value. Furthermore, the sublimation entropy, ΔS0(subl., WO2Br2, 298); the enthalpy of formation of gaseous WO2Br2, ΔHf0 (WO2Br2, g, 298); and the entropy of gaseous WO2Br2, S0(WO2Br2, g, 298), have been evaluated.Obtained data: see „Inhaltsübersicht“.
    Notes: Die Sublimationsenthalpie von WO2Br2 wurde nach einem gravimetrischen und einem massenspektrometrischen KNUDSEN-Effusionverfahren gemessen.Für die Sublimationsenthalpie wurde 33,9 ± 0,8 kcal/mol (452-501 K), bzw. 34,6 ± 0,9 kcal/mol (455-538°K) gefunden. Die gravimetrischen KNUDSEN-Messungen ergaben eine Sublimationsentropie von 47,9 ± 1,6 cal/mol K (1452-501°K).Mit Hilfe eines geschätzten ΔCp (subl.)
