Summary Propylene oligomers with primary-OH, tertiary-0H andα,β-di-OH end groups have been prepared by converting the isopropenyl-ended oligomers with hydroboration-oxydation, oxymercuration-demercuration and performic acid hydroxylation reactions, respectively.
