    Description: Studies have shown that mussels bacteria are essentially isolated from water. Microbiological observation revealed that i) bacteria types are essentially related to environmental location ii) mussels organs that are in contact to water environmental contain the same type of bacteria iii) undigested bacteria inside the digestive tract are growing after modification and this bacterial group named “Gut Group Vibrio” iv) the major type of bacteria isolated are : Acromobater-Flavobacterium-Acinetobacterium-Pseudomonas and Vibrio

    Description: The studies of plankton collected in the Tunis Gulf (1966-1971) show the occurrence of Evadne nordmanni . This species seems endemic. It appears on the surface during a very short period of the year in nearly the whole gulf.
    Description: Des études du plancton récolté dans le golfe de Tunis pendant 3 années consécutives (1966 -1971) ont mis en évidence la présence d' Evadne nordmanni. Cette espèce semble endémique. Elle apparaît en surface pendant une très courte période de l'année et dans presque tout le golfe.

    Description: Siganus luridus and S.rivulatus are reported for the first time in the Gulf of Gabes; the second species is new for the Tunisian fauna. Monogenea, Monopisthocotylea parasites are found on both species: P.polymorphus eilaticus on S.luridus and P.polymorphus suezicus on S.rivulatus.

    Exploitation de la Coryphène Coryphaena hippurus sur les côtes Tunisiennes. (2016)

    Description: The results are given of a study of the dolphinfish Coryphaena hippurus fishery production in coastal waters of Tunisia; catches were caught during a survey which lasted 3-4 months. Spatio-temporal fluctuations of the production were analyzed with respect to physico-chemical parameters (temperature and salinity) and exploitation data (recording of contributions, increase of landing sites). Details are given of the catching techniques using fish aggregating devices. The total size at recruitment was estimated at 15 cm. The average sizes were determined throughout the duration of the survey.

    Les fonds chalutables de la région Sud-Est de la Tunisie (golfe de Gabes) (2016)

    Description: Le travail présenté est une étude générale du golfe de Gabès au point de vue de l'hydrologie, des caractéristiques du fond, de la faunistique et des possibilités de la pèche. Cette étude comprend : la répartition des peuplements benthiques (végétaux et animaux) et des produits de la pêche, dans les différents fonds, des listes complètent cette répartition et précisent la fréquence; les rendements horaires obtenus pour chacune des principales espèces des produits de la pêche. Les fonds chalutables du golfe de Gabes sont peuplés de poissons adultes de petite taille et d'un grand nombre de jeunes poissons; les quantités importantes de déchets benthiques. notamment dans les fonds inférieurs à — 100 m gênent considérablement le chalutage. Toutefois, le golfe de Gabes présente d'autres possibilités de pêche diverses.

    Les peuplements benthiques de la lagune de Ghar El Melh. (2016)

    Description: Eighty-four animals and 15 plant species are identified in the benthos of Ghar El Melh Lagoon. Spatial distribution and association of these organisms are the reflect of the physical and chemical conditions of the water. The euryhaline biocenosis covers the most part of the lagoon.
    Description: 84 espèces animales et 15 espèces végétales ont été identifiés lors de 1'étude des peuplements benthiques de la lagune de Ghar El Melh. La répartition et l'association de ces organismes sont le reflet des conditions physico-chimiques du plan d'eau. Les biocénoses à caractère euryhalins couvrent la majeure partie de la lagune.
