    Notes: Abstract The sulfur resistance of Pt−Re/Al2O3-ZSM-5 catalyst has been investigated for normal heptane reforming. It was found that while sulfur acts as a poison for Pt−Re/Al2O3, it can play an important role in activity maintenance and aromatics production when ZSM-5 zeolite is present.

    Notes: Abstract The nature and rate of coke deposited on mono-and bimetallic reforming catalysts have been studied for normal heptane reforming. For bimetallic catalysts it has been shown that coke deposition is less extensive than on monometallic catalyst, depending on the degree of polymerization and the type of bimetallic catalyst.

    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Влияние германия на поведение катализатора Pt/Al2O3 исследовали в риформинге н-гептана с целью сравнения активностей, селективностей и времен ктализаторов Pt/Al2O3, Ge/Al2O3 и Pt−Ge/Al2O3. Полагают, что присутствие германия приводит к пониженному содержанию углерода на катализаторе и к менее явной дезактивации катализатора с увеличением селективности к ароматике.
    Notes: Abstract The influence of germanium on the behavior of a Pt/Al2O3 catalyst was studied in normal heptane reforming in order to compare activity, selectivity and life of Pt/Al2O3; Ge/Al2O3 and Pt−Ge/Al2O3 catalysts. It is suggested that the presence of germanium results in lower carbon content on the catalyst and less pronounced catalyst deactivation with an increase in aromatics selectivity.

    Notes: Abstract Coke deposition on monometallic Pt, Re, Ir, Ge and Sn catalysts supported on γ-Al2O3, and its influence on activity and selectivity over methylcyclopentene reforming was studied. As a result the effect can be interpreted in terms of metal-support interactions that modify the overall catalytic deactivation rates.

    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract В ходе реакций углеводородов на Pt/Al2O3 катализатор покрыт чернью. Принято, что зауглероживание происходит на металлических и кислотных центрах. Найдено, что в реформинге н-гептана и метилциклопентана природа и скорость высаждения углерода на поверхности не одинаковы для двух соединений и зависят от структуры углеводорода на питании.
    Notes: Abstract During hydrocarbons reactions over Pt/Al2O3 the catalyst is covered by coke. It is accepted that coke formation occurs on metal and acid sites. During normal heptane and methylcyclopentane reforming it was found that the nature and the rate of coke deposited on the catalyst surface was not same, depending on the structure of the hydrocarbon feed.
