Conclusions 1. Use of the UVK-1 installation for farm building foundation construction makes it possible to eliminate the drawbacks inherent to installation mounted on excavator cranes and to increase the trench tamping labor productivity by a factor of about 2. 2. The proposed technique makes it possible to mechanize the foundation construction work to the maximum possible extent with a minimum number of construction machines, and to reduce the labor by 26%, the budget cost by 20–25%, the cement by 20–30%, and the steel by more than 80%.
