Description: This article is devoted to the determination of edge-based eccentric topological indices of a zero divisor graph of some algebraic structures. In particular, we computed the first Zagreb eccentricity index, third Zagreb eccentricity index, geometric-arithmetic eccentricity index, atom-bond connectivity eccentricity index and a fourth type of eccentric harmonic index for zero divisor graphs associated with a class of finite commutative rings.

Description: We develop the solution procedures to solve the bipolar fuzzy linear system of equations (BFLSEs) with some iterative methods namely Richardson method, extrapolated Richardson (ER) method, Jacobi method, Jacobi over-relaxation (JOR) method, Gauss–Seidel (GS) method, extrapolated Gauss-Seidel (EGS) method and successive over-relaxation (SOR) method. Moreover, we discuss the properties of convergence of these iterative methods. By showing the validity of these methods, an example having exact solution is described. The numerical computation shows that the SOR method with ω = 1.25 is more accurate as compared to the other iterative methods.

Description: Koam and Pirashivili developed the equivariant version of Hochschild cohomology by mixing the standard chain complexes computing group with associative algebra cohomologies to obtain the bicomplex C ˜ G * ( A , X ). In this paper, we form a new bicomplex F ˘ G * ( A , X ) by deleting the first column and the first row and reindexing. We show that H ˘ G 1 ( A , X ) classifies the singular extensions of oriented algebras.

Description: In this paper, we define q-rung picture fuzzy hypergraphs and illustrate the formation of granular structures using q-rung picture fuzzy hypergraphs and level hypergraphs. Further, we define the q-rung picture fuzzy equivalence relation and q-rung picture fuzzy hierarchical quotient space structures. In particular, a q-rung picture fuzzy hypergraph and hypergraph combine a set of granules, and a hierarchical structure is formed corresponding to the series of hypergraphs. The mappings between the q-rung picture fuzzy hypergraphs depict the relationships among granules occurring at different levels. The consequences reveal that the representation of the partition of the universal set is more efficient through q-rung picture fuzzy hypergraphs and the q-rung picture fuzzy equivalence relation. We also present an arithmetic example and comparison analysis to signify the superiority and validity of our proposed model.

Description: The fuzzy linguistic approach provides favorable outputs in several areas, whose description is relatively qualitative. The encouragement for the utilization of sentences or words instead of numbers is that linguistic characterizations or classifications are usually less absolute than algebraic or arithmetical ones. In this research article, we animate the m-polar fuzzy (mF) linguistic approach and elaborate it with real life examples and tabular representation to develop the affluence of linguistic variables based on mF approach. As an extension of the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method, we develop an m-polar fuzzy linguistic TOPSIS approach for multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM). It is used to evaluate the best alternative, to get more authentic and comparable results and to handle the real life problems of having multi-polar information in terms of linguistic variables and values. In this approach decision-makers contribute their estimations in the form of linguistic term sets. To show the efficiency and compatibility of the proposed approach, we compare it with the m-polar fuzzy linguistic ELECTRE-I (Elimination and Choice Translating Reality) approach. Finally, we draw a flow chart of our proposed approach as an algorithm and generate a computer programming code.

Description: Picture fuzzy model is a generalized structure of intuitionistic fuzzy model in the sense that it not only assigns the membership and nonmembership values in the form of orthopair ( μ , ν ) to an element, but it assigns a triplet ( μ , η , ν ) , where η denotes the neutral degree and the difference π = 1 − ( μ + η + ν ) indicates the degree of refusal. The q-rung picture fuzzy set( q -RPFS) provides a wide formal mathematical sketch in which uncertain and vague conceptual phenomenon can be precisely and rigorously studied because of its distinctive quality of vast representation space of acceptable triplets. This paper discusses some properties including edge regularity, total edge regularity and perfect edge regularity of q-rung picture fuzzy graphs (q-RPFGs). The work introduces and investigates these properties for square q-RPFGs and q-RPF line graphs. Furthermore, this study characterizes how regularity and edge regularity of q-RPFGs structurally relate. In addition, it presents the concept of ego-networks to extract knowledge from large social networks under q-rung picture fuzzy environment with algorithm.

Description: Parameter reduction is a very important technique in many fields, including pattern recognition. Many reduction techniques have been reported for fuzzy soft sets to solve decision-making problems. However, there is almost no attention to the parameter reduction of bipolar fuzzy soft sets, which take advantage of the fact that membership and non-membership degrees play a symmetric role. This methodology is of great importance in many decision-making situations. In this paper, we provide a novel theoretical approach to solve decision-making problems based on bipolar fuzzy soft sets and study four types of parameter reductions of such sets. Parameter reduction algorithms are developed and illustrated through examples. The experimental results prove that our proposed parameter reduction techniques delete the irrelevant parameters while keeping definite decision-making choices unchanged. Moreover, the reduction algorithms are compared regarding the degree of ease of computing reduction, applicability, exact degree of reduction, applied situation, and multi-use of parameter reduction. Finally, a real application is developed to describe the validity of our proposed reduction algorithms.

Description: In a few years, hesitant fuzzy sets (HFSs) have had an impact on several different areas of decision science. However, a number of researches have utilized the Elimination and choice translating reality (ELECTRE) methods to determine the multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems with hesitant information. The aim of this research article is to develop new multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) methods, such as the m-polar hesitant fuzzy ELECTRE-I (mHF ELECTRE-I) method and hesitant m-polar fuzzy ELECTRE-I (HmF ELECTRE-I) method. Proposed MCGDM techniques based on the hybrid models, m-polar hesitant fuzzy sets (mHFS-sets) and hesitant m-polar fuzzy sets (HmF-sets), which are the natural generalizations of HFSs and m-polar fuzzy sets (mF sets). These models enable us to deal with multipolar information under hesitancy. We use the proposed methods to deal the complex problems in which the membership degree of an element of given set uses the m different numeric and fuzzy values, to rank all the alternatives and to determine the best alternative. We present two practical examples that illustrate the procedure of the proposed methods. We also discuss the differences and comparative analysis of the proposed methods. Finally, we develop an algorithm that implements our decision-making procedures by using computer programming.

Description: This paper presents a new scheme for solving m-polar fuzzy system of linear equations (m-PFSLEs) by using LU decomposition method. We assume the coefficient matrix of the system is symmetric positive definite, and we discuss this point in detail with some numerical examples. Furthermore, we investigate the inconsistent m×nm-polar fuzzy matrix equation (m-PFME) and find the least square solution (LSS) of this system by using generalized inverse matrix theory. Moreover, we discuss the strong solution of m-polar fuzzy LSS of the inconsistent m-PFME. In the end, we present a numerical example to illustrate our approach.
