Notes:
The fractionation of rat liver extracts by ethanol at low temperature and the estimation of the insulinase activity of such fractions revealed that insulin-degrading principles are spread over the entire fractionation range. A 3,5-fold increase in potency was achieved in the fraction which precipitated at pH 7,3 and an ethanol concentration of 40-60%.
