Conclusions 1. When KClO3 is used as a thermometric substance the reference points can be assigned the following frequencies:v 0=28,213,470±25 cps for 0°C; andv −182.97=28,920,145±20 cps for −182.97°C. 2. The effect of impurities within the above mentioned limits on the QNR temperature was not observed in the measurements of the seven samples carried out by us. 3. On the basis of the results so far obtained it is possible to recommend the continuation of work for further raising the accuracy in determining absolute QNR frequencies for the above and other reference points on the low-temperature scale for the purpose of their subsequent reproduction by means of the above method.
