    Description: The E. dolichocera-group of Edessa Fabricius, 1803 (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae: Edessinae) is proposed and the species are described, including two new to science. This group includes three South American species: Edessa dolichocera (Lichtenstein, 1795), E. guyanensis spec. nov. and E. nigromaculata spec. nov. E. ductor Walker, 1868 is considered to be a junior synonym of E. dolichocera (Lichtenstein, 1795). The lectotypes of Cimex dilochocerus Lichtenstein, 1795 and of Edessa ductor Walker, 1868, are designated. The habitus, metasternal and external genital characters and the distribution of the three species are described and illustrated. The drawings are from the first author, the photographs are made by the second author. Measurements are given in millimeters.

    Description: The Neotropical genus Ogmocoris Mayr, 1864 is revised based on morphological characters, particularly the genitalia of both sexes. Formerly monobasic with O. hypomelas (Burmeister, 1835), one new species is here described, O. paranaensis n. sp. Illustrations of the external genitalia of both sexes are provided.

    Description: The E. collaris group of Edessa Fabricius, 1803 (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae: Edessinae) is proposed and the species are described, including one new to science. This group includes two South American (Edessa collaris Dallas, 1851 and E. epulo Kirkaldy, 1909) and two Central American species (E. lineigera St\xc3\xa5l, 1862 and E. panamensis spec. nov.). E. lineifera Bergroth, 1891, is considered to be a junior synonym of E. collaris Dallas, 1851. The Lectotypes of E. collaris and E. lineigera are designated.

    Description: The E. beckeri group of Edessa Fabricius, 1803 (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae: Edessinae) from Brazil and Guyana\xe2\x80\x99s is proposed and three new species are described- Edessa beckeri spec. nov., Edessa xingu spec. nov. and Edessa amazonica spec. nov.     Description: The E. cervus-group of Edessa Fabricius, 1803 (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae: Edessinae) from South and Central America, is proposed to include the Edessa species with the apices of the long cylindrical humeral angles bifurcated. Three new and three described species are included: Edessa cervus (Fabricius, 1787), Edessa cerastes Breddin, 1905, Edessa elaphus Breddin, 1905, Edessa burmeisteri spec. nov., Edessa peruviana spec. nov., Edessa rondoniensis spec. nov.; their external genital characters and the metasternum of E. burmeisteri are illustrated and their distribution is given. The males of Edessa cerastes Breddin, 1905, and Edessa elaphus Breddin, 1905, which were unknown until now, are described.
